Web Design Prices

HTML/Perl/C/C++/JavaScript/PHP coding: $25/hr (approximately ¹/₂ the going rate)
Digital photography: included ($0.50/mile, if I have to drive outside Monroe County, NY)
Simple logo creation: $25/hr
Stock clip-art: free
College student discount (w/ proper ID): 10%
High school (and earlier) student discount (w/ proper ID): 20%
I will not design sites such as the following:

hate material (You're welcome to your opinions, but so am I.)
pornographic material (too much potential liability)
derogatory material (even if not hateful)

Much time can be saved if you can answer these questions in advance:

What is your target audience (age, income, politics, special interest, etc.)?
What features do you want (frames, interactivity, guestbook, accessibility, etc.)?
What general look and feel do you want (layout, color schemes, etc.)?

If you want interactivity such as guestbooks, counters, or dynamic content (content that changes frequently), then it would be helpful to know:

What kind of server will you be using?
Will your site be hosted on a computer you own (ie: with a broadband connection)?
If your site will be hosted by a professional web hosting company, then what technologies are you allowed to use? This info should be available on some sort of server specification page on the hosting company's site.

No information will ever be shared with anybody else, except as legally required. Period.
